July Favorites

Hello everyone! Today I'm talking about my favorites of the month.
The first product is an IT cosmetics foundation that I recently bought and immediately fell in love with! I had never tried anything by IT before, but I would be willing to try other products by this brand because this foundation is so great!
The second product is a MAC lipstick called 'All Fired Up'. It's such a nice red color, and it's totally matte! Absolutely lovely.
I showed the Killer Queen perfume in my birthday haul post. I had wanted it for a while and then my husband got it for me. And oh my! If you get the chance definitely give it a smell because it's heavenly.
And lastly I've been liking this really unique bracelet that I've shown in multiple OOTD posts.

What have you been loving this month?

Also, I made a video to go along with this post. It's my first ever YouTube video, and it would be soooo amazing if you guys checked it out. I love you all! I don't know what I would do without my friends here on my blog. Thanks for sticking around. :)

OOTD: Stripes & Suspenders

Shorts-Papaya
Shirt-Papaya
Hat-Shop in Flagstaff
 Necklace-Gifted from the lovely Sophie

I bought these shorts at the beginning of summer and I love them so much! They're high waisted and have suspenders attached. It was love at first sight.
The shoes are really comfortable and cute. They go with a ton of outfits too! When I slip them on I know I'm going to have a good day. ;)

Sinful Colors Professional Nail Polish Review

I was hesitant to buy Sinful Colors because they are so cheap! I think they came in at $1.99 each. In my mind that's great because it's a heck of a lot cheaper than Essie...but at the same time it also sends up a red flag.
Does the cheap price mean this is a cheap product?
The answer:
Kind of.
It takes more than one coat for sure. I'd say you'd have to do two and even then it can look transparent.

That being said it's an all right nail polish. I would definitely buy more because I don't mind spending a lot of time on my nails. Also, do you see that black color? It's gorgeous!

The colors shown are Cloud 9 (orange), Let's Meet (yellow), and Starry Night (black).

If you're going to give these a try I would recommend Starry Night. I'm in love with it!

OOTD: Black & Yellow

 Dress-Ross
Shoes-Forever21
Gloves-Sock Dreams
Sunglasses-Target

This outfit is pretty special because I wore it for our 3 year wedding anniversary!
I love you Jason!!

I went for a black & yellow theme, and I'm really happy with it! I think the most unique item is the gloves. It really added a nice stylish vibe to the outfit. I got them from one of my favorite online shops called Sock Dreams. You should totally check them out. :)

Lush Sex Bomb Review

The Sex Bomb from Lush is my absolute favorite of the bunch!
Everytime I stop in I must pick up one (or two or three) of these.
It's the prettiest bath bomb in my opinion. The beautiful pink and purple colors and the flower in the middle. I love it!
And oh the smell! Don't even get me started on that!
It's heavenly.

When you pop this baby in the bath it fizzes and turns the water a very nice pink color. Not only that but it makes your skin super soft after having a soak.
I really can't recommend it enough!

The name of this bomb is very fitting, too. I don't think that needs any further explanation. :)

So, have you tried it? Do you love it as much as I do?

My Red Lipstick

I get a lot of comments about the red lipstick I wear.
People ask me what I'm wearing.
People tell me they don't have the self-confidence to wear red lipstick.

In any post where I am wearing red lipstick, it's this one. A beautiful MAC lipstick called 'MAC Red'
It's the best red lipstick ever! When I want to wear red lipstick (which is always) this is the one I reach for. I recommend it for sure! I know that MAC has a lot of amazing red colors, so if you're looking for one I'd suggest going there.

The self confidence thing...
I don't know how to tackle this one.
Because when I wear red lipstick I don't feel brave, I just feel like I'm being myself.
If you wear red lipstick and it makes you feel self-conscious, that's not good. Only wear clothes/makeup that make you feel absolutely comfortable and beautiful. It's ok if you don't feel good about wearing red lipstick.
I feel most beautiful when I wear red lipstick, so I wear it a lot.
But that's not how everyone feels.

If wearing little to no makeup makes you feel beautiful, then do that!
If you hate dresses, then don't wear them.
Don't feel forced into any fashion/makeup.

The key to this self-confidence thing is not caring about what anyone else thinks about your makeup & clothes.
When I feel really awesome about what I'm wearing, I just don't care what other people think.

I hope you all can get to that point.
Because I'm really happy with who I am, and I wish that for everyone.

Do you wear red lipstick?

OOTD: A Pop Of Yellow

Dress-Rue21
Flip Flops-Old Navy

Last week I did an OOTD post with this same exact dress but in a different color. I bought both dresses on sale at Rue21 for $5 each, and if there had been other colors I would have gotten those too!

I love this dress and print so much! It's the perfect outfit for summer.
I decided to add a pop of color by pairing the dress with a bright yellow top.
And it wouldn't be summer without a new pair of flip-flops!

Lush Butterball Bath Bomb Review

I have always skipped buying the Butterball Bath Bomb at Lush because it looks so boring. Yes, I think like a five year old and am attracted to anything colorful (or shiny/sparkly). When compared to all of the other awesome bath bombs I just couldn't believe this one would live up to any of my favorites.
Until I smelled it.
Wow.
It's delicious scent is what did me in. Vanilla goodness! I knew I had to try this one out,
and I'm so glad I did! The smell is divine, and it made my skin feel baby soft because it's filled with chunks of cocoa butter.
It's made for people with dry skin, so if that's you definitely pick it up and give it a try.
Don't let this colorless plain bath bomb fool you! It's one of the best!
