How to turn a giant shirt into a dress:

Step 1- Put the shirt on.

Step 2- Pull both of your arms through the neck hole so that it wears like a sleeveless dress.

Step 3- Tie the sleeves around the back. 

Step 4- Accessorize. 

My dad gave me this giant shirt and said it was the only size they had and that I could figure something out. So this is what happened. I didn't have to sew or anything, which is good because I would have wrecked it if I had to do that.

I love tights and leggings, and these tights have been my favorite for a very long time. I got them around two years ago, and they are still in perfect condition after wearing them a ton and washing them. Sock Dreams is the best website I've found that sells really amazing and unique tights. If you haven't checked them out, you should!

I thought the turtle necklace added a lot to this outfit, and I just had to show off the manicure I got yesterday because I very rarely get my nails done.

I love Sock Dreams. I'm on their website a lot, looking at different tights. If you are looking for some unique leggings, definitely check them out. These Cheshire Cat tights are so cute! 

Lately I've really been wanting some new rings, and the US State rings are so cheap and beautiful!  

Physicians Formula has just put out some new products, and I'm really wanting to try some of them, especially the shimmer strips. 

The dress and shoes looked perfect for Valentine's Day!

OOTD: Floral Boots

 You will probably see these floral boots quite a lot because they are my favorite shoes ever.  I got them sometime last year and have worn them so much ever since. I thought they made this outfit look unique and playful. 

The necklace has a sort of vintage feel to it, but if you look closely you'll see it's actually a mockingjay from The Hunger Games series. I thought it was a genius idea. I find that the best jewelery always comes from Etsy.

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm

Hello! Before I get started on my post, I'd like to wish my husband, Jason, a happy birthday! I love you so much, babe.

I bought this product after hearing a lot of great things about it. 

Excuse my cat. She wanted to attack it.

It's the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm. This one is in the shade of 225 Sultry, which is a really nice brownish pink color.

These balms are so pigmented. I was very impressed when I first put it on. I got mine at Walmart for around $7, and I know they sell them at Walgreens, CVS, and Bed Bath & Beyond. 

Something that was a little different for me is that this is a balm, and I'm used to wearing lipstick, which feels a lot different on my lips. It's very light and smooth, and does keep my lips hydrated. 

I thought I'd do a nice duck lips pic. :)

As you can see, my lips look quite shiny. I do put lip gloss over it, but you really don't have to, that's just what I prefer. 

If you haven't tried this product I think you should give it a go.

For Christmas I received this eyeshadow palette from my mom.

From what I understand about Hard Candy they used to sell their items as a high end brand at places like Ulta and Sephora. They went bankrupt, and now they sell exclusively at Walmart for extremely affordable prices. I believe this palette was around $5. I'm not 100% sure about the back story of this company, but that's what I've heard. 

The product is all right. Some of the shades are extremely pigmented, while others aren't. You might have to work to get some color out of it, but at such a great price, I think it's worth it for all of these gorgeous colors. There are 24 colors in all and with the exception of one, they are all shimmer shades, which I love. If you aren't a fan of shimmer shades, then this palette really isn't for you. 

I would definitely like to try other Hard Candy products mainly because they are so affordable. 

As you can see from the picture of the back they do not test on animals, and that's always a plus.

This outfit is super casual and comfy.

The striped tights make it really stand out. 

 The boots are a must during winter. 

And we all know how much I love London, so the sweatshirt was perfect for me.

Tarte Gorgeous Getaways

This holiday season I went into Ulta and saw this box set of Tarte make up and had to get it. It was $48, which is an amazing deal. 

I absolutely love it and use it everyday.

It comes with:

16 eye shadows

4 blushes

3 lip glosses

and a travel case

The gold case is pretty awesome. You can take out any of the four palette's, pop it in the case, and carry it in your purse.
