Spring is such a fun time of the year. I love all of the flowers blooming, although my nose isn't too keen on it! I've been sneezing like crazy lately!

I did this pink makeup look and I think it makes for a lovely spring makeup look. The white eyeliner is my favorite! It makes my eyes look ten times bigger and goes perfectly with all of the pops of pink.

Also, the hairstyle definitely screams spring to me. The flower crown is from Claire's, in case any of you were wondering. :)

Easy Loose Wavy Curls Tutorial (HOTD)

What I used:
2-inch Curling Iron
John Frieda Sheer Blonde Hairspray
Batiste Dry Shampoo

This has been one of my go to hairstyles lately, and I love it! Very loose beachy waves that would look amazing on anyone, and it's super easy.
All I'm doing is wrapping my hair around a curling iron for a few seconds, then letting it drop, and BAM! Beautiful loose curls.

And since I really don't know how to explain this through writing, here's a video that explains it much better!

Anyone a fan of this hairstyle? :D

DIY: Chalk Hair Dye

There was a time when I had pink in my hair (with blonde) and also red. It took forever to get my hair back to blonde, and I'm the kind of person who would like to add crazy colors and then go back to blonde the next day...and hey! I found a way.

I'm sort of an artist so I have a lot of art supplies and I hadn't used my pastel's in forever! While browsing the internet I found someone talking about putting artist's chalk in hair to temporarily dye it cool colors, and it totally works!
Super easy too!

Just get whatever pastel colors you want. I went for blue and red (superman colors!). All I did was wet the chalk and a chunk of hair, then rub the chalk on it. After that I dried the hair with a hair dryer, although I think you can let it air dry, but I was crunched for time because I was about to film a video.

And that's it! It washes out too! If you have darker hair I imagine it might be a bit of a struggle to get the color to show, but apparently it's possible.

I've also heard that sidewalk chalk works too, but it's not very pigmented, so I'm going to stick with my art chalk. :)

Have you ever tried this??

Goldilocks Halloween Hair & Makeup

Products Used
IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination
Wet N Wild 'Brass' Glitter Single
Tarte 'Pacific Sunset' Eye Shadow
Maybelline 'Blackest Black' Gel Eyeliner
Elf lengthening & Defining Mascara
Physicians Formula 'Rose' Happy Booster Blush
Wet N Wild 'Cherry Picking' Lipstick
 Lush Lustre Body Powder
Elf Fake Eyelashes from the Wicked Beauty Book

This year I was finally Goldilocks for Halloween! I say finally because I've wanted to dress up as this fairytale character for years! With my blond hair I thought I could make a decent Goldilocks, and I think I managed it.
I pretty much covered my face in gold glitter. I don't know how well it's showing up in the pictures, but I picked up a Wet N Wild eye shadow that was perfect for it!
All I had to do was curl my hair, apply the glitter, and force my husband to dress as a bear! Just kidding. There was no forcing involved (I don't think).

What are you dressing up as??

Halloween Cat Makeup (Pretty Kitty Decals)

I stopped in Spirit Halloween, which is a seasonal store full of Halloween costumes and fun things for Halloween.
I found these face stickers called 'Pretty Kitty Decals' and I really wanted to try them out!
They are super cute! Basically you just do your makeup and put the stickers on, add some cat ears and you're good to go.
Unfortunately, these stickers are terribly uncomfortable. Especially around the eyes. YIKES! I wanted to pull them off right away!
But look at how cute :D

Zoella Insired Fall Makeup

 Cat Ears- Rue21
Sweater-Rue21

I've been wearing this makeup look for the past week and I love it so much! The Wet N Wild lipstick 'Cherry Bomb' is the perfect fall color, and it's super affordable but also great quality.
I did a milkmaid braid and added the cat ears because it's Halloween time so I think it's appropriate to be a cat (although I think it's ok to be a cat everyday).

This is one of the most comfortable sweaters ever! I'll no doubt be doing some OOTD's with it soon!

Zoella did an Autumn/Fall look and that's where I got the inspiration for this post. It's not exactly like hers, but I did try!

Bloody Mary Makeup Tutorial

You're dared to go into the bathroom.
Turn off the light.
Look in the mirror.
And say the words 'Bloody Mary' three times.

There is a ton of lore surrounding Bloody Mary. She's a witch, a ghost, a corpse. When she appears to you she scratches your eyes out. She screams. She wails.

When I was a child I did this a lot. I never actually saw Mary, but maybe you will. Are you brave enough to try and see her?

But...like...for real. Filming myself in a dark bathroom with candles lit and saying her name...it was a bit scary. Haha :D Anything for a good video!

Ghost Girl Makeup Tutorial

It's October!! Which means it's time to get creepy!
I'm going to be doing three different Halloween looks this October, and my 'Ghost Girl' is the first one.
This look is super easy! All you need is white and black makeup and you're ready to go. You can watch my tutorial if you want to see exactly how I did it. If you try this out yourself I'd love to see pics! Just tag me on twitter or instagram.

Literally all you have to do is cover your face in white creamy makeup, then take some black eye shadow (or any black powder) and create those harsh shadows.

I love this time of year!! Scary movies. Candy Corn. Pumpkin Spice everything!
What are you most excited for?
And did I mention American Horror Story?!

I don't usually ask you guys to do this, but if you could watch the video I would be so grateful! And if you liked it please give it a thumbs up and if you would like to see more it would be wonderful if you subscribed to my channel. Not only that, but if you really really really liked it, sharing it would make my day! :) Thank you thank you thank you!!! I love you guys so much!

Zoella Inspired Festival Hair/Makeup/Outfit

Zoella recently did a 'get ready with me festival edition'.
I thought her look was sooo cute and perfect and so I gave it a go!!
Of course it's not exactly what she did, but I felt so inspired by it!

I'm not going to any festivals this summer, but they seem fun! Unfortunately, I'm like Zoe and I dislike camping/being outside for long periods of time. But I still like to pretend I'm cool enough to go to festivals. :)
