Spring Essentials

 Is everyone excited for spring?? Just this morning I looked out the window to my backyard and saw a butterfly on my flowers that are now in bloom. 

Spring has definitely arrived in Arizona! 

So here are my spring essentials!

Pastel Nail Polishes are a must! And Essie knows how to do some amazing pastel colors. My favorite one is Mint Candy Apple. Such a pretty blue color that screams spring!

The Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation is a new favorite for me. I picked this up while I was in Europe and was not disappointed. The hype is well earned with this product! I think it's a great spring/summer foundation. 

Spring calls for a change in scent. Something fresh and new...so I picked the Zoella Mistful Blissful spray. Even the name is just lovely. I think it smells like grapefruit, which is a really nice fun and playful scent. 

Pink lips. Yes yes yes! Rimmel does some great pink lipsticks in the Kate Moss collection! I've been using lots of these lipsticks for a long time and there's a great color for every season. 

Lastly, I think some lip gloss is needed. I picked Tanya Burr's lipgloss in the color 'Chic'. It's a gorgeous natural pink color.

December Favorites

Christmas is over, but cheer up! There's still so much life to look forward to!

I've been wearing beanies a lot this month because it keeps my head nice and warm and comfy. The gold nail polish is gorgeous as a top coat, and I've been using it for a nice Christmas touch to my nails. 

And the blush is amazing! So pigmented and it has those darker shades for winter. Lastly, the eyeshadow book. It has every color I could ever need in a compact holder that I can pop in my purse or travel bag. Oh, but don't forget the candle! Yummy smells for days!

It's fall and soon it will be winter, which is is my favorite time of the year for lipstick. It's when I can pull out all of those vampy colors that I think compliment my skin tone so well. 

All of these products can be found at your local drugstore, so they are super affordable and super amazing! 

I know that three of these colors (Napa Vineyard, Cherry Bomb, 11) look very similar, and they are, but I had to include them all because they really are my favorites! Cherry Bomb is my go to lipstick lately. It's a very nice berry toned lipstick that is long-lasting. 

Napa Vineyard and the Kate Moss lipstick might be the same color...but I swear they look different on. 

And that purple color! So so so gorgeous! Really smooth and moisturizing because it's a lip balm.

I've been loving lots of new makeup this month, and I have especially been loving Wet N' Wild. I've got their highlighter, eye shadow, and lipstick on my favorites list for this month! Super affordable products and really amazing payoff. 

Bubble baths are amazing, and now that it's getting colder I thought it would be nice to recommend my favorite at the moment. The Neutrogena rainbath is incredible! 

Cat ears have been on my head practically every day of October. Great for Halloween, and for a playful look.

Lastly, two non-beauty related items. The book The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancy and the band Manchester Orchestra.

I've really been loving that pale pink lipstick. It goes on so smooth and was around $2 from Walgreens. I'm tempted to go back and get all of the colors! Wet N' Wild is a great brand because it's super affordable but also really good quality! 

If you remember, I reviewed that elf palette quite a while ago but recently I've been grabbing for it more and more. It has everything I could need when it comes to makeup! I've especially been loving the bronzers.

Hairspray is not my best friend. Usually I hate the stuff, but I've finally found one that I love! It's the John Frieda Sheer Blonde hairspray. It goes perfectly with my blonde hair and holds everything in place. 

Lastly is a book. I don't talk about books too often here, but I read a ton! And this book did not disappoint. I loved it from start to finish. If you love ghost stories and YA novels, then you will love this!

 Hello everyone! Today I'm talking about my favorites of the month. 

The first product is an IT cosmetics foundation that I recently bought and immediately fell in love with! I had never tried anything by IT before, but I would be willing to try other products by this brand because this foundation is so great! 

The second product is a MAC lipstick called 'All Fired Up'. It's such a nice red color, and it's totally matte! Absolutely lovely. 

I showed the Killer Queen perfume in my birthday haul post. I had wanted it for a while and then my husband got it for me. And oh my! If you get the chance definitely give it a smell because it's heavenly. 

And lastly I've been liking this really unique bracelet that I've shown in multiple OOTD posts.

April Favorites

Another month has gone by, so it's time for another favorites post! Did everyone have a good April? Are we all excited for May? I've got to say that May is a crazy month for me this year! I'm going to be one busy person! But let's focus on April, shall we?

  

I've been really into rings lately. I love the feeling of rings on my hands, which sounds strange, but it's true! We all know that I love turtles and flowers, so these are perfect!

Essie nail polish is a must for me this spring. These colors are too gorgeous!

I think eos has been in a favorites before, but I can't get enough of it! These flavors are the best! The Sweet Mint and Honeysuckle Honeydew. So good!

I did a review of these Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains and I think it was pretty clear that I really like them! These pink shades are lovely.

I bought this candle a while ago. It's the perfect spring scent, and I have no idea what it's called. I do know that it's made by Glade and it was one of the limited edition spring scents. 

This is the best lotion I have ever used! And it smells like coconut! It feels so wonderful on my skin. I use it everyday!

March Favorites

Here's what I've been loving!

I first spotted this ring on Instagram and followed the maker. Check out her pics at anniep1124. All of her rings are gorgeous, and I had to go with the sunflower. 

 I recently did a review of this body powder from Lush and I am loving it so much! It smells wonderful and gives off a gorgeous shimmer.

This has been one of my favorites for months now! I just bought the full size tube, and I love having the normal sized one rather than the sample.

I am obsessed with this color!! And all of the other colors too! These Revlon Colorbursts are amazing!

February Favorites

Can you believe February is over? I feel like it went by so fast!

Anyone wondering what I've been loving? 

 

1) Chi Ultra- I received this as a gift from my husband for Valentine's Day. I used to have a Chi that I got for my birthday, but it broke...super fast. And I was sad. But then my husband got me a new one! Seriously these straighteners are the best! I straighten and curl my hair with it and it never lets me down. 

2) Sigma small angle E65 brush- This is the best eyeliner brush for me. It is amazing! 

3) Naked3 Palette- Need I say more?

4) Wet n Wild eyeshadow primer- This works perfectly to keep my eyeshadow on all day and makes the colors look more vibrant, and it's super cheap!

5) Match Perfection 2 in 1 concealer and highlighter- I put this under my eyes to hide dark circles and it really brightens my eyes. 

6) Dry Shampoo

 7) Twisted Fairy Tales- I love fairy tales, so when I found this in the bookstore I had to get it! It did not disappoint. 

8) Britton Loves- Not only do I love this blog, but I also love Lauren. She is so nice and when I'm not sure about a post I've put up (my anxiety gets the best of me) she's always one of the first people to comment. 

She is amazing at blogging and she's also an amazing photographer. I would beg her to take my pictures if we lived near each other.
