Zoella Inspired Milkmaid Braid

I'm a huge Zoella fan, and when I saw that she did this hairstyle a few weeks ago I wanted to try it out right away. 

I wasn't sure about it because Zoe has really long/thick hair and I don't. But I did it a little different, and I love how it turned out. 

I'm always on the lookout for new hairstyles that won't take a lot of time, and this is perfect!

Since my hair is shorter than Zoe's my hair meets at the top, and I hide the ends under the braids.

 When I do this hairstyle people ask me how to do it and it is literally one of the easiest hairstyles! Just do two braids and pin it at the top.

On Friday I went to Payson, Arizona for my sister-in-law's wedding. I was one of the bridesmaids, so this is what all of her girl's wore, and I think the dress is perfect for going to a spring wedding!

My husband looked fabulous! He definitely deserves best dressed (aside from the bride, of course). 

The decorations were so cute :)

My mom gave me my birthday gift early, and it's this beautiful outfit! The perfect 'little black dress'. 

I absolutely love it! It's girly and classy, which is what I'm looking for when I go on a date with my husband. :) 

The shoes are my favorite! When I opened the gift my mouth dropped open. They will work with so many different outfits, and they're definitely my style.

My birthday is in less than a month! 
On June 14th I'll be 23.

I'm the kind of person who absolutely loves birthdays! I love getting people gifts, and I'll admit I love getting gifts as well. Also, CAKE!

It's summer here in Arizona, which means it is burning up outside, the sun is out constantly, and it's time for shorts and tank tops. 

These shorts are perfect! The detail on the front pockets is so cute and just what I need for summer.

This outfit is super casual and great for a day of hanging out with friends. 

I added a bright kimono to add some color, but I think the outfit is great with it or without.

Follow Me Around Flagstaff, Arizona

On Friday I went to this amazing little town in Arizona called Flagstaff. 

I thought I'd show you around and see if you like it as much as I do!

We ate delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, unlike any other grilled cheese I've ever eaten. Took pics of my OOTD. Drank organic coffee. Went into the cutest little soap shop where a dog sits outside all day, occasionally going in for a drink of water. And shopped for some unique jewelry. 
At the end of the day we watched my older sister graduate from college. 

It's a beautiful place full of lovely shops and people.

I have been really loving anchors lately. There's jewelry and clothes that are all sailor inspired. It's everywhere! And I'm jumping on this trend. 

This is my first try at real nail art. Sure, I've painted my nails, but I've never done something so...difficult!

My husband seemed to be quite impressed. :) His reaction was something like, "How did you do that?!" 

I opened my birthday gift the other day. Jason told me to even though my birthday isn't until June 14. And it's a camera. A Canon EOS 600D. 

I love it! Hopefully my pictures are much better now!

I'm a Disney girl. If you've been around long then you might know that. I love trips to Disneyland, Disney movies (can I live in Wonderland please?), and Disney fashion. This outfit is a little quirky I'll admit, but that's exactly what I like. 
The hat is one of my favorite things. It goes with so many outfits, and I find myself putting it on all the time.
The bright pink skirt and bright pink shoes are a must. 
And adding a pair of socks is the most important part. In a good mood? Want to wear something different? Just add some socks. :)
