OOTD: Summer Inspiration

While I was at the mall the other day I popped into Rue21 and found this dress (and another one with the same print but different color) for just $5!!!! 

Oh my goodness! What a deal!! This dress is way too perfect for summer. From the flower print to the lightweight material...I am in love! 

Rue21 has officially become one of my favorite stores. 

They also have amazing guys clothing too! 

I still can't believe I bought this for such a bargain. I'll be wearing it all summer!

OOTD: Chipped Nails & Fluffy Hair

This skirt has become one of my favorite clothing items. I love it!
 And I want to wear those shoes everyday. :)

I wore this skirt in my Birthday OOTD, but it can be paired with a lot of different tops and shoes and look amazing!

 Did you notice the bracelet? I really like how unique and fun it is. Makes me want a soda! 

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

I love Lush! It's one of my favorite stores, and although I usually stick with the bath bombs and bubble bars, I also like to try some of their other products.

The last time I went in I picked up this Bubblegum Lip Scrub. What you do with this product is scrub it onto your lips and then lick away the excess (it's sugar!) 

The point of it is to make your lips soft and ready for some lipstick or lip balm. 

I think that this is probably a product that people reach for a lot more in the winter time because that's when lips get really bad.

My lips get really bad on a daily basis. They're dry and irritated pretty much all the time, so when I heard about this product I was all for it. 

I really like it! The smell is amazing!!! Though I've heard some of the smells aren't so great, so if you are going to try it out then I would get this flavor just to be safe. 

It scrubs off all of the dead skin (ew!) and makes my lips super soft. 

I love it because it does exactly what it says it will do. 

Birthday Haul!

I got some amazing gifts for my birthday! One of my favorites is that snow white figurine. Jason got it for me and it has made me so happy! I love seeing it on my shelf in the living room. Can I just turn into a Disney princess please?? 

Jason also gave me the Katy Perry Killer Queen perfume, lotion, and shower gel! Yay! I've been wanting that for so so so long, and he got me the whole set. What a guy! 

On my birthday I had my outfit ready and I was so excited...until I realized I had no shoes to match. 

I was literally heartbroken over it. We had to pop into Forever21 to get some new ones.

Okay. We didn't have to. But I was really distraught over shoes that day. No idea why!

While in Forever21 we found these beautiful heels. We frantically looked for my size (had to get an employee to help us) and eventually left victorious! 

Lush and makeup are my favorite, so I used a gift card on some beauty products and went shopping at Lush for some yummy bath bombs. 

I also picked out quite a few new decorations for our house with gift cards, and I'm thinking on doing a post all about it. 

I really had the best birthday!

My birthday was on Saturday and this is what I wore. 

I absolutely love Alice in Wonderland, and when I found this shirt I knew it would be perfect for my birthday. 

I had been eyeing that skirt for some time and after months of looking at it I finally decided that my birthday was a good excuse to buy it!
 

I had a really amazing day (thanks to Jason). We ate lots of food, went shopping, and saw a movie.

I'm 23 now! Woooohoooo!

Are you into the whole denim on denim look? I thought I'd give it a try and I actually really like it!!

After putting this outfit on I wanted to go out with Jason, so we went to this lovely shop here in Gilbert, Arizona called The Sweet Tooth Fairy. 

 

 We had the most delicious cake bites and cupcakes! 
If you live anywhere near one of these shops you must go!

Grav3yardgirl Inspired Mermaid Hair

Bunny over on YouTube recently did a video all about her mermaid hair, and I had to try it out! 

All I did was buy a hair waver (mines the Bed Head Wave Runner) and it worked perfectly! 

Any hair waver will work.

There's two different sizes and I used the smaller one for the tight waves, but I think the big waves look beautiful as well. 

It is so sassy!

DIY/OOTD: Tie Dye

A few days ago I tie dyed clothes for the first time. It was so much easier than I thought, and so fun!!

I tried to go with a color scheme for each piece of clothing, and a certain pattern/design. 

I'm really happy with it! 

Before starting I watched a couple of YouTube video's on how to get the swirl and the stripes. I definitely recommend doing that if you're going to try this out. 

I picked out a few pieces of white clothing, bought the tie dye kit, watched the YouTube video's, and it was as simple as that. 

If you're looking for a fun summer project, you should do this! 

I loved how the tank top came out so I thought it'd be a good time to get those hippie vibes going and do a quick OOTD!
