e.l.f. Studio 83 Piece Essential Makeup Collection

   

This is pretty much my first time ever using elf makeup, and I had an all right experience with it. 

The swatches show the bronzers, the blushes, and one row of eye shadows. 

Good:

There's a lot of great things about this makeup kit. I love how many different shades of everything it comes with. It has 64 eye shadows, 8 lip glosses, 4 blushes, 4 bronzers, and 3 brushes. If I need a specific color eye shadow, I go to this kit because it has so many different shades. I love the blush colors! Especially that orange one. It's perfect for summer!

The colors stay on pretty long. Probably not 12 hour wear, but long enough that I don't feel like I need to reapply often.  It folds up nicely into a relatively small carry case. 

The best part is how affordable elf products are! This kit sells for $20 online. 

Bad:

The lip glosses. I'm not sure why, but when lip gloss comes in a palette like this it grosses me out. I won't ever use it. (That's just a personal preference though.)

The second main thing is that this makeup is super messy. When I get eye shadow there is a lot of fall out. This is true for the blushes and bronzers as well. 

The brushes in this kit are so bad. I don't know any other way to describe it, which is strange because I own quite a few elf brushes and I really like them, but the brushes in this kit are really cheap! 

Is it worth the money? Yeah! You get so much makeup for such a small price! 

 

Zoella Inspired Milkmaid Braid

I'm a huge Zoella fan, and when I saw that she did this hairstyle a few weeks ago I wanted to try it out right away. 

I wasn't sure about it because Zoe has really long/thick hair and I don't. But I did it a little different, and I love how it turned out. 

I'm always on the lookout for new hairstyles that won't take a lot of time, and this is perfect!

Since my hair is shorter than Zoe's my hair meets at the top, and I hide the ends under the braids.

 When I do this hairstyle people ask me how to do it and it is literally one of the easiest hairstyles! Just do two braids and pin it at the top. 

Easy!

On Friday I went to Payson, Arizona for my sister-in-law's wedding. I was one of the bridesmaids, so this is what all of her girl's wore, and I think the dress is perfect for going to a spring wedding!

My husband looked fabulous! He definitely deserves best dressed (aside from the bride, of course). 

The decorations were so cute :)

My mom gave me my birthday gift early, and it's this beautiful outfit! The perfect 'little black dress'. 

I absolutely love it! It's girly and classy, which is what I'm looking for when I go on a date with my husband. :) 

The shoes are my favorite! When I opened the gift my mouth dropped open. They will work with so many different outfits, and they're definitely my style.
