Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm

Hello! Before I get started on my post, I'd like to wish my husband, Jason, a happy birthday! I love you so much, babe.

I bought this product after hearing a lot of great things about it.

Excuse my cat. She wanted to attack it.
It's the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm. This one is in the shade of 225 Sultry, which is a really nice brownish pink color.

Swatch!
These balms are so pigmented. I was very impressed when I first put it on. I got mine at Walmart for around $7, and I know they sell them at Walgreens, CVS, and Bed Bath & Beyond.

Something that was a little different for me is that this is a balm, and I'm used to wearing lipstick, which feels a lot different on my lips. It's very light and smooth, and does keep my lips hydrated.

I thought I'd do a nice duck lips pic. :)
As you can see, my lips look quite shiny. I do put lip gloss over it, but you really don't have to, that's just what I prefer.

If you haven't tried this product I think you should give it a go.

  1. This is like a cheaper version of the clinque chubby stick! I've wanted to find an alternative for ages, will definitely have to purchase on of these next time i'm shopping! :-) xx

    1. It definitely is. I haven't tried the chubby stick but would love to try it out to see how alike/different they are.

  5. I love wearing lipstick but hate having to ruin lip-balm with the colour so tinted or moisturising balms are great for me. this looks a really great finish and coverage !
