I went out and took these pics on New Years Eve. It was pretty fun! I didn't have much planned for that night, but we went downtown where it's all lit up for Christmas, and there were lots of people hanging out. 

My husband surprised me with this dress a few days after Christmas because he is awesome and knows my style too well! I really like the collar and how it can pop out of a sweater to add a little cutesy vibe.

I don't know why but the more I don't wash my hair the bigger it gets! But maybe it is full of secrets!

My lip color here is ColourPop's 'Grunge' and I love it! It's such a pretty dark nude color! I'm thinking of doing a makeup tutorial with it over on my YouTube

Trash The Dress: Prom

 I noticed a lot of people were putting up prom related posts/vids and I am not one to be left out. I've seen prom makeup looks, prom flashbacks, prom GRWM...and I just really wanted to hop on this bandwagon...so I thought I would just trash the dress. :D

But really, no prom dresses were harmed in the making of this post. 

This is the dress I wore back in 2009 for my prom! I loved it then, and I'm ok with it now, but I would not pick this if I had prom today. No no. But I do like it.

I was going for a grunge/vampire/witch/idk look here. What do you think? 

Did everyone have a good prom?? I hope so!!

Tanya Burr 'Chic' Lip Gloss Review

 'Chic'

I picked up a couple of Tanya Burr products while I was over in England, and I'm so glad I did! I honestly wish I had bought more of the lip glosses. 'Chic' is a really pretty color. It's a natural peachy/pink color that goes with any makeup look. I think every girl should have a lip color that goes with everything, and this one is it for me.

It's pigmentation is really good and the smell of it is amazing! It's kind of a fruity smell I think, although I can't pinpoint exactly what it is, but it's good. 

It glides on really nice and stays on for quite a long time. It's a gloss and not a stain, so of course it's going to come right off if you're eating or drinking, but re-applying is easy peasy. 

What do you guys think of these lip glosses? Any Burr Bears out there? :D

CutiePieMarzia is a YouTuber that I love so so so much!! When she launched her clothing line I really wanted to buy it all, but my budget only allowed for the sweatshirt. I think it's just the cutest!!

It's obviously versatile, as you can see I've paired it with three different outfits and it works perfectly with all of them! 

It's a really simple sweatshirt with three colorful bows going down the center, and it's wonderful for Spring! :)

 Spring is such a fun time of the year. I love all of the flowers blooming, although my nose isn't too keen on it! I've been sneezing like crazy lately!

I did this pink makeup look and I think it makes for a lovely spring makeup look. The white eyeliner is my favorite! It makes my eyes look ten times bigger and goes perfectly with all of the pops of pink.

Also, the hairstyle definitely screams spring to me. The flower crown is from Claire's, in case any of you were wondering. :)

The title pretty much says it all. I used all drugstore makeup for this look, and I think it's beautiful. You really don't have to spend a ton of money on makeup to get the look you want. My favorite drugstore brands are definitely e.l.f., Rimmel, and Wet N' Wild. They all have great products for incredible prices.

Easy Loose Wavy Curls Tutorial (HOTD)

What I used:

2-inch Curling Iron

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Hairspray

Batiste Dry Shampoo 

 This has been one of my go to hairstyles lately, and I love it! Very loose beachy waves that would look amazing on anyone, and it's super easy.

All I'm doing is wrapping my hair around a curling iron for a few seconds, then letting it drop, and BAM! Beautiful loose curls. 

And since I really don't know how to explain this through writing, here's a video that explains it much better! 

Anyone a fan of this hairstyle? :D 

Home Haul

I received quite a few things for my home for Christmas this year, so I thought it was about time I did a home haul! 

  

My mom got me all of this wonderful sunflower stuff! I especially love the sunflower clock! It's so pretty and so me! And the sunflower bowls are just adorable.

I have an obsession with mugs. 
And The Wizard of Oz. 
And Starbucks. 

The jar cups are a new favorite! Love them!

 Those little coke salt & pepper shakers are the cutest! And the camera picture holders were a perfect addition to my house.

I stumbled upon the Alice in Wonderland wall decor in Hobby Lobby and could not be happier about it!
