Arizona Renaissance Festival

I went to the Arizona Renaissance Festival this past weekend, and I thought I would take you guys along with me!

I've gone at least 5 times before (although I think more). This year I actually tried to do a sort of Renaissance inspired hair style...ok, really I was inspired by the show Reign and we all know that show is not historically accurate at all, but I tried! 

Picking up souvenirs from these sorts of places is one of my favorite things, and this year I got a rose necklace, and it's not just any rose necklace. It's a rose. Like a real rose that has been turned into a necklace! I was amazed when I saw it! 

I love flowers and so I had to have it! They came in all different colors too, but this one is perfectly shaped and such a pretty shade of pink. 

There are lots of different little stands and shops with little trinkets such as jewelry, journals, clothes, food! Oh the smells.

So many different foods to chose from, most people go for giant Turkey legs, but those things turn my stomach in the worst way. Not my kind of food, so I usually get a bread bowl. 

 

  YUMMMMMMYYYY!

My favorite places are full of unique crafts that people make and sell. Like the rose necklace that was handmade.

At some places the artist is right there working on a project. Whether it be clay or glass blowing, I always admire the craftsmanship. 

I am enchanted by a lot of things in every day life, but there are a few things at the Renaissance festival that completely blow me away. 

Like the garden full of fairies.

This has to be one of my favorite outfits ever! I've been waiting to pull out these leggings for fall, and I'm so happy the time has come! I'm absolutely in love with them. 

The combat boots come out a ton in fall too. They keep my feet warm and stylish. 

Who's excited about November? We're getting closer to Thanksgiving...and then Christmas! I can't wait!!!

I'm a girl who loves anything with flowers.

I especially love flower crowns!

I think it adds the perfect accessory to this outfit. 

I also love adding a pop of color, and this bright yellow belt really does the job! 

And I always seem to make my way over to my husband's side of the closet, stealing his shirts. :) He doesn't seem to mind though!

Alice from Alice in Wonderland. 

 It's loosely based on her, and I just had to throw in a pic of her with a flower crown. :) 

I thought the necklace worked for this because the part where she can't get the door open and realizes she shrunk before grabbing the key.
