OOTD: A Pop Of Red

 Top- Burlington Coat Factory
Skirt- Papaya
Boots- Primark
Purse- River Island

Is everyone ready for spring??? I know that spring usually calls for pastels, but sometimes red is a must. And for me it's always a must! I just love the red with stripes look.
And the boots I am obsessed with. I purchased them in the Primark on Oxford Street. I only say that because now I think I'm cool because I actually know what Oxford Street is, and how ridiculously busy it is!

What do you think? Is Spring the perfect season for a pop of color, or what?
Have you all been smelling the glorious flowers lately? :D
Happy Spring!

NYX Matte Lipstick 'Alabama' Review (First Impressions)

 NYX MATTE LIPSTICK SHADE ALABAMA

I have wanted to try the NYX Matte lipstick's for a while now and I finally picked up this gorgeous red color called 'Alabama'. I think it's a perfect fall color, but can also be worn whenever the heck you want. I was never one for giving up colors I love just because the season changed.
So let's call it a perfect spring color too :)

This is more of a first impression than a review because I've only worn it once a few days ago, but man do I love it! The formula is wonderful. It goes on so smooth and stays on forever. It's a matte lipstick so that's exactly what it should do! I had it on for a few hours, then went to the movies (I saw Insurgent!) and came home after eating popcorn and drinking a soda it still looked good as new.

I'd say it's a winner! I definitely want to try out all of the colors!!

Here's what it looks like on my lips:

I think it's so lovely.

Also, I tried out Zoe Sugg's side Dutch braid in that pic. What do you think? I like it!

Travel Diary: PARIS

I know you've heard it a million times, but the Eiffel Tower really is amazing. It's HUGE!! And although I know it's huge, it's totally crazy seeing it in real life. Pictures just don't do it justice.

It's s cool to be in different places in Paris and look up, only to see the Eiffel tower far in the distance. Beautiful!
Standing under the Eiffel Tower is an experience I'll never forget!

Have you guys been to the Eiffel Tower? Did you like it as much as I did?

Going to Paris was an amazing experience, and nothing says Paris like stripes!
I don't know why that is, but I had to wear stripes with a pop of red while in Paris (and red lips too)!

Sitting by the Eiffel Tower was magical. I never thought I would find myself there. I have seen pictures and have learned about the Eiffel Tower in art classes.
And oh my. It is huge and beautiful! I loved it!

I still can't speak a word of French, unfortunately. Maybe one day I'll learn it! :)

Travel Diary: ENGLAND

I had such an amazing time in England. It is one of my favorite memories ever, and I miss London already!
Everything about London is lovely. The buildings, the people, and the scenery. I fell in love and left some of my heart there. I hope to go back someday!

This is more of a photo diary than anything else. Pictures speak louder than words, and every one of these pictures holds some of the best memories for me.

What's your London? Where have you visited that you fell absolutely in love with? I'd love to know!

Travel Diary: Cemeteries of London

"God is in the houses and God is in my head
And all the cemeteries in London
I see God come in my garden, but I don't know what he said
For my heart it wasn't open
Not open"

As we strolled through London one day we came across a park. An unusual park.
Because it was a cemetery.

Well, technically it was a park, but it was a cemetery first, and when it became overpopulated it was turned into a park. So there are tombs and gravestones everywhere!

It's one of the coolest and creepiest places I have ever been.

There were people sitting on benches and dogs running around. Just a normal park to everyone else.
But it's not everyday you see gravestones lining the walls of a park you happened to stumble upon.

Fergie Wet N' Wild Velvet Matte Lip Colors Review

I'm a big fan of Wet N' Wild! The only product from the Fergie collection I've tried is the eyeshadow Primer and I absolutely love it, so I thought I'd give another product a try.

I picked up two colors from the Velvet Matte Lip Colors, and I'm a bit disappointed.
They are matte and they are colors, so that's a great description! But they are not pigmented at all. I have to put on lots of layers and it's still kind of patchy.
And they broke.
They both broke! The whole stick came right off. I just shoved them back in and I'm hoping that works because I don't want to feel like I wasted my money.

I do really love the colors. That's what drew me to them in the first place. Plumgenue is one of my favorite lip colors, so I have been wearing it a lot but I wish it was more pigmented.

The color 'The Stand Out' would make a great spring color.
And Plumgenue is a great everyday color, but I'm not a big fan of these.
I've found that putting lip gloss over the top has really helped them to look better, though.
I'd love to hear other opinions if you guys have tried them out.
