NYX Matte Lipstick 'Alabama' Review (First Impressions)


 NYX MATTE LIPSTICK SHADE ALABAMA

I have wanted to try the NYX Matte lipstick's for a while now and I finally picked up this gorgeous red color called 'Alabama'. I think it's a perfect fall color, but can also be worn whenever the heck you want. I was never one for giving up colors I love just because the season changed. 
So let's call it a perfect spring color too :) 

This is more of a first impression than a review because I've only worn it once a few days ago, but man do I love it! The formula is wonderful. It goes on so smooth and stays on forever. It's a matte lipstick so that's exactly what it should do! I had it on for a few hours, then went to the movies (I saw Insurgent!) and came home after eating popcorn and drinking a soda it still looked good as new. 

I'd say it's a winner! I definitely want to try out all of the colors!!

I think it's so lovely. 

Also, I tried out Zoe Sugg's side Dutch braid in that pic. What do you think? I like it!

    Oh my gosh this shade is just gorgeous on you Christina! Matte lipstick was made for you; it always looks so stunning against your skin tone and pretty blonde hair. Alabama is certainly no exception ;) NYX lipsticks forever look impressive; really bold, long lasting and worthwhile. I really must order one someday! Definitely in agreement with you that lipsticks should be rocked whatever season; I always love a bright pink lip for the summer, but totally love them on darker days too. Lookin' like the model you are in the last photo, your braid is beautiful, suits you so well! <3

    Hope you enjoyed Insurgent, looks like such a good movie! :)

    Christina, this lipstick is my most favourite one ever on you, and I know how many lipsticks you have.
