August Favorites

1. Wet N' Wild 'Think Pink' lipstick
2. elf palette
3. Sheer Blonde Hairspray
4. Bad Girls Don't Die by Katie Alender

I've really been loving that pale pink lipstick. It goes on so smooth and was around $2 from Walgreens. I'm tempted to go back and get all of the colors! Wet N' Wild is a great brand because it's super affordable but also really good quality!

If you remember, I reviewed that elf palette quite a while ago but recently I've been grabbing for it more and more. It has everything I could need when it comes to makeup! I've especially been loving the bronzers.

Hairspray is not my best friend. Usually I hate the stuff, but I've finally found one that I love! It's the John Frieda Sheer Blonde hairspray. It goes perfectly with my blonde hair and holds everything in place.

Lastly is a book. I don't talk about books too often here, but I read a ton! And this book did not disappoint. I loved it from start to finish. If you love ghost stories and YA novels, then you will love this!

  1. Aww Christina you look so beautiful! You always do, but I especially love the Think Pink lipstick you're wearing! Freakin' pretty is such a fab description! Red is striking on you, but this just suits your whole look perfectly too! Love, love, LOVE! I also adore the pinafore you're wearing, the pink and white florals are too pretty :) The mint bow just adds the perfect finishing touch.

John Frieda is always my go-to for blonde hair, usually the shampoo and stay-in conditioners they do ;) I'm just like you, I really don't like hairsprays, they never seem to work wonders for me but I definitely want to give this one a try now. And wow, how amazing is the elf palette?! Super amazing! Just such an array of beautiful, rainbow colours and I love that includes blushes, lip products, eyeshadows and bronzers too!

I love that you love to read. It's definitely one of my favourite past times too, although for some weird reason I can only read a book properly and enjoy it fully on a Sunday afternoon. See weird ;) Haha! So that kinda limits me but I still love it anywho.
I like that the book you picked it quite creepy and eery, it sounds like a fab read and just in time for the upcoming season too :)

I absolutely loved this vlog, you are just a superstar in front of the camera, so bubbly and personable and always able to raise a massive smile and bring cheer with you :D Each vlog just keeps getting better and better, you are so natural and have such a vibrancy about you for vlogging! Go girllll!

    1. Awww thank you Sophie!! I'm so glad you like the lipstick!! I really like it! I'm wearing it constantly lately :) And I think it would look great on anyone!

I've never tried the John Frieda shampoo's or conditioners, but I might now because I love the hairspray so much! I like the hairspray because it works really well without making my hair crunchy. You should definitely try it out! The elf palette is pretty amazing!! It's nice having everything in one place! Super convenient.

Reading Sunday afternoon sounds lovely! Perfect for the end of the weekend :)

Ahhh you are way too sweet!! I'm so glad you are enjoying my vlogs :D I really love making them! <3

  4. Great post! Totally agree with your Wet N' Wild recommendation! In a month or two you should try out their shade 'Black Orchid', it's PERFECT for the autumn/winter months! (Be sure to blot though. It's pretty intense at first lol)
