Wreck This Journal

I've got a bit of a different post for you guys today, but I hope you like it!
I first started my Wreck This Journal because one of my favorite YouTubers, Grav3yardgirl (bunny), did a series of video's called 'Wreck It Wednesdays' where she would do a few pages from her Wreck This Journal and also encourage her 'swamp family' to do some as well.
I loved the idea of WTJ. I had heard of it and really wanted to try it out, so once Bunny started doing it I bought one.
I've been working on mine for over 7 months now and I'm still not finished (as you'll see in the video. Lots of blank pages still).

My WTJ has meant a lot to me. I get extreme anxiety sometimes that often leads to panic attacks, but I've found that doing pages from my journal helps me cope.
If I'm feeling especially anxious, I pull out my journal and start working on a page.
I love it!
I've shown a few of my favorite pages here.

This journal is my artwork.
But more than that, it's my mind written on pages.
Take a peek in my journal, and you'll find a piece of me.

  5. Amazing! Stunning photography of your WTJ Christina; you always continue to amaze and inspire me with your imagination!
Wreck This Journal just looks like such a cool thing to do and I love that I've heard about it first from you :) I love the coffee shot, it makes me wish I drank coffee ;) The third shot is so incredible, a real explosion of colour and creativity! And how fantastic you shared your nail polish swatches, such a fab idea and so very "you" <3

Your video was just the cutest! So gorgeous that you showed us all the shots of each and every page, I love that! So quirky and sweet all the little journal ideas you showed us, and I loved that you again showed us how creative you are by being original and stand-out! The shots of Luna were just adorable ^_^ It's really uplifting and makes my heart less heavy to know the journal relieves you of some of your anxiety Christina, and allows you to cope. I'm still so, so sorry you have to endure and suffer from it in the first place. Panic attacks are just the worst :/ They really can be so frightening. Always remember how brave, beautiful, courageous and strong you are. "But you will be happy my darling. You will shine." -- those words speak volumes, and the absolute truth. You shine in everything and anything you do. I always believe in you and you have every reason in the world to believe in yourself and be so proud of all you have achieved and all the amazing things you will go on to achieve. So proud of you and remember I'm always here for you, day or night!

    Love you! <3

  6. I love this idea. I'm obsessed with notebooks and I always start them, but never finished them. However, last semester, I brought a green notebook and I've been using it ever since. Writing outside of the computer, or just painting or whatever, it's great to just release it on paper. I also have a journal similar to the wreck it journal. I got the inspiration from a you tuber called Charlie and it changed my life.
